Iryna Ewart

Born in Vladivostok USSR in 1972, Iryna graduated in 1995 with a Degree in Russian Language & Literature from the University of Chercassy, Ukraine (Philological Faculty).

With twelve years experience as a Writer, Actor and Organiser in Theatre, Dance & Drama, she has written numerous scripts for her Youth Theatre Group, with two (15 Min.) comedy programs for Chercassy / Ukrainian TV (”Pan Meloman“ ) produced in 1996.

She founded the ”Art Square“ Comedy Theatre for Secondary Schools in 1997. Recently, Iryna's prize-winning drama students achieved runners-up in a Ukrainian Nationwide competition using her own scenarios.

Her main inspiration and influences are derived from Russian classics including Tolstoy, Dostoyevski, Nabokov, Pasternak and Bulgakov.
